Who Said What ??

                                                INDIA  VS SOUTH AFRICA

As India finally break the trend against the South African's and playing strong as Defending Champion. It was memorable win after all first win against SA in the world cup.
Let see here who said what after the match.

So let hear it first from the losing captain, what he got to say:

AB DE VILLIERS

"Yeah, it's a big knock for us to get beaten by 130 runs. It's almost embarrassing. You never want to lose by that amount of runs. You always want to be a competitive team. Feel like you're always in the game, feel like you've got a chance to win games. We're going to have to lick our wounds for a while."
“I just want to sort of go feel sad in my room for a while, and we'll see again how I feel tomorrow. Today's performance can creep into your game if you start thinking about it too much. If you allow it to creep in, it will knock your confidence down. I want to have a mature chat and honest chat about it. When it comes down to making the quarterfinals, I still believe that if we play some good cricket, we'll make that."
De Villiers doesn’t think that the massive crowd support that India had at the stadium had a role to play in the result. He added: "As Hashim (Amla) said to me, India batted well. And we need to win games anywhere in the world if we want to be the best cricket team in the world.
“He actually mentioned to me that he was quite impressed with the bowling performance from India. I thought they were quite clever tonight, but definitely a poor batting performance. Like I mentioned before, the two run outs (his and David Miller) cost us quite a lot tonight.”
The winning Captain comes here
MS DHONI
"I think more than just the result, it was how we played. Back to back performances by both the bowling and batting units. South Africa are a very good side, so it was one more complete performance.”
"What's happening really well is we are able to execute our plans. I can give fields to the fast bowlers. They are not bowling loose balls. They bowled tight lines and the batsmen had to play big shots to get runs. The amount of effort the fast bowlers are putting in the nets is beginning to show now.
"The bowlers bowled in good areas, and even (Ravindra) Jadeja bowled very well, not just quick and flat the way he usually bowls."
Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav produced two crucial run outs with powerful throws from the deep, of AB de Villiers and David Miller respectively. Praising their efforts, Dhoni said: "I am very pleased with the run-outs. We usually see the oppositions taking on our fast bowlers in the deep. Mohit (Sharma) and Umesh (Yadav) are quite fast and have good arms."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH:
SHIKHAR DHAWAN:
“It was very important. I will say that of course when a batsman scores a century it's a great feeling. More than that, it was important that the partnerships have been going big for my team. That was our plan and that's what we stick to. We lost an early wicket, AB hit a great run-out. We just wanted to stay on the wicket; we knew their three bowlers were very good. I respected the good balls. I was cashing on that loose deliveries.
“I was just relaxed and I wasn't hurrying. I knew that once I am set, I can bring the run-rate up again. I guess after the 25th over, whenever I was getting loose deliveries, once you are set, you will hit more shots, so that's what I did, playing on the merit and I knew that I would get the boundaries easily. They (Kohli and Rahane) batted beautifully. Virat at the start when we were under pressure and we both gave the stability and a good base.
“And then Ajinkya came in and started off on a good note. His strike-rate was quite up, so I was just relaxing at that moment. I knew I just had to rotate the strike and it went really good. For sure, two wins and especially this tournament, we got one-week break after each match, it's a good thing. We are looking forward to the next game in the next week. Thanks to the crowd, they supported us greatly.”
Twitter Can't Stay Away At This Momment:
Lets start with leader of the Nation:
Great performance. Well played. Congrats Team India. You make us proud yet again.
Terrific performance team India.First win in a World Cup against South Africa.First time for me in the stands in a WorldCup.Memorable firsts.

Great victory for India. Out batted- out bowled and more importantly out fielded the South Africans! Well played Ind!! @StarSportsIndia

Did South Africa miss Kallis?? You bet!!@StarSportsIndia

While I am happy with india getting 300 in the first 2 games I am more happy and impressed with the performance of the bowlers.

While @SDhawan25 is hogging the limelight @ajinkyarahane88 quietly playing a v.imp knock. What a player.

We r seeing a special knock from @SDhawan25 . Would love to see him bat for 50 overs. Imagine what india will end up with.

India played like champions...South Africa like pretenders. Outstanding. with @AltoK10

Batting & bowling is fine but the most striking feature of this game is that India has out-fielded South Africa. That says something!

I never thought that I'd use 'one-sided' for this match...but that's exactly how it has been so far. India bossed the game.

ok, did anyone predict that? could anyone?

The fans have brought this world cup alive. Today at the MCG was unbelievable. Even Bangladesh and Afghanistan at Canberra. And Adelaide!

It's all for now hope you enjoyed the match more than this and hope to celebrate more of Indian Team Wins Together.

Worst Ever Start In History of ODI Cricket And World Cup.

                                                              RECORD FOR PAKISTAN
Pakistan have scripted themselves into the history books as Misbah-ul-Haq men’s recorded the worst start to a one-day international innings when they were reeling at 1-4 in the fourth over during their humiliating defeat against the West Indies on Saturday in Christchurch. Chasing the target of 310, opener Nasir Jamshed, veteran batsman Younis Khan and Haris Sohail failed to score even a single run as they fell prey to Jerome Taylor’s deliveries.

Opener Ahmed Shehzad followed them shortly as he was caught behind by Lendl Simmons off Jason Holder’s delivery. Pakistan were reeling at one for the loss of four wickets in the fourth over before Umar Akmal and Sohaib Maqsood provided some relief to the collapsing batting order.  Previously, minnows Canada held the record for the worst ODI start as they were 4-4 against Zimbabwe in Port-of-Spain in 2006.

Later shame relieving innings from Sohail Maqsood(50) and Umar Akmal(59), though not enough for Pakistan from losing the match to west Indies. As they lost the match by huge margin of 150 runs. Jerome Taylor and Andre Russel bagged 3 wicket each and Benn adjudged with 2 wickets.

Earlier, batting first West Indies got to a lenient start as they got a slow start as Smith and Gayle went for cheaply ,
Darren Bravo retired  hurt for 49. Dinesh Ramdin played an accelerating inning of 51(43) and Lendl Simmons 50(46), the duo accelerates the West Indian innings to better run rate. But cracking wrap was unfinished untill  Darren Sammy 30(28) and swashbuckling 42(13)  3 x 4's  4 x 6's from Andre Russel.

Andre Russel was adjudged Man Of The Match for All round perfomance
Bowling :  08-02-33-03
Batting : 42 runs of 13 balls  Strike rate 323.8 .

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - End Of MasterClass Movie.

                                DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE (1995)

DDLJ one of the best definitive romantic movie ever made in Hindi cinema finally ended, when the final show was played at the Maratha Mandir at morning 09:15 AM. It has been running for almost 20 years , precisely 1009 weeks after it began playing since October 19, 1995.On the final show around 210 audience came to take glimpse of the mater-class movie for the final time at theatre.

Maratha Mandir managing director Manoj Desai, however, told news agency: "We have 1105 seats in one screen and out of which hardly 100 to 200 seats used to get occupied so it doesn't make sense to run it any longer." The tickets for DDLJ  were sold at Rs 20, Rs 17 and Rs 15 - much cheaper than the prices charged by multiplexes.
DDLJ's 1009-week uninterrupted run makes it the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema, a record previously held by 1975 blockbuster Sholay which ran in Mumbai's Minerva Theatre for five years.

He had also said, "Aditya Chopra and I will continue to show the film in Maratha Mandir as long as we want to."

Dilwale Duhania Le Jayenge was Aditya Chopra's first film as director.

It starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, a blockbuster screen jodi who appeared opposite each other in several subsequent films and are rumoured to be co-starring again in a Rohit Shetty-directed movie.

What Tendulkar Have To Say ?

                                         INDIA vs SOUTH AFRICA

Sachin Tendulkar has said the team would have to be on guard against South Africa in their next Pool B encounter on Sunday. As considering the fact that India have never beaten South Africa in the World Cup in all 3 previous meeting, losing by 3 wickets in the previous
World Cup 2011 held in India.

Despite winning their opening match by good margin, Sachin feels that the team have to be on guard for the Sunday match.

In an interview to Headlines Today, Tendulkar said South Africa's agile fielding unit would make life difficult for the Indian batsmen, who benefited from Pakistani's ordinary fielding effort.

On the last meeting Tendulkar scored a century(111) but that was not enough to prevent  defeat as Dale Steyn came back strong to take 5 wickets haul.He also included, "Without any doubt he's (Steyn) their strike bowler. He's bowled unbelievably well," Tendulkar said. "You can't pre-decide how to play Steyn, he could also have a bad day, you have to decide in the moment but you have to respect Steyn, you need to be watchful upfront but take your opportunities."

He also added that India should remain positive and not to put pressure on Rohit Sharma. Rohit doesn't need to worry. Next time he will get it right," he said.

The former batsman said India must not look too far ahead and urged them to go with the same XI that played against Pakistan, which may mean sending Ajinkya Rahane at No 4. "I would possibly look to do that if we lose a couple of early wickets," he said. "I would want to have Raina after 20th over or so. I would not want to see him in first four overs there. I would back Rahane there."

New Zealand Vs Scotland

NZ  BEAT SCOTLAND BY 3 WICKETS

New Zealand won the toss and choose to field, letting Scotland give them a chaser.
Scotland was not at all in a good position as there both openers fell quickly all thanks to
superb swing bowling from Tim Southee and  Trent Boult .

Scotland inning was going nowhere as they were reduced to 4-12 at the end of fifth over.
Until Matt Machan 56(79) and Richie Berrington  50(80) rescued Scotland from a disaster.
It was not sufficient enough as the lower order was wrapped up quickly by
Daniel Vettori  3-24(8.2 overs). And finally the Scotland dangling inning came to rest at 142-10(36.2 overs).

New Zealand bowled exceptionally well,  Southee 08-3-35-2 , Boult 06-1-21-2, Vettori  8.2-1-24-3 and Corey Anderson 05-1-18-3.

In a  World cup where runs were flowing like an ocean, Scotland made sure that NZ don't get it easily. NZ lost wickets at regular interval.A cameo from Kane Williamson 38(45) and
Grant Elliott  29(31)  helped NZ to prevent a defeat from non-test playing side at home.
In a hard fought battle of  run chase NZ finally made it in the 24.5 overs as they reached 146-7 to beat Scotland by 3 wickets in hand and with 151 balls remaining.

Scotland made it hard for  NZ as Iain Wardlaw 9.5-0-57-3 and Josh Davey 7-0-40-3  fought hard to make NZ tremble at the middle. But overall it was a low scoring as well as second successful run chase of this world cup.

Trent Boult of New Zealand was adjudged Man of the Match for his superb bowling to reduce Scotland to lowest score at this world cup batting first.
